- Assist supervisor with operations to ensure that it complies with the quality and safety standards of the company.
- Recommend improvements in quality processes and production procedures and equipment.
- Assist with the proper trainings to the team on their job duties.
- Help ensure each staff meets the assigned production targets daily.
- Manage resource allocation including work station assignments, employee breaks and shift rotations to achieve assigned objectives.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with supervisor to address issues and safety concerns immediately.
- Build safe, clean and positive working atmosphere.
- Promote Lean Manufacturing techniques.
- Strive to meet all company goals and objectives.
- Prepare daily production reports as requested on output, quality and quantity.
- All other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Production leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other business software applications.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and teamwork.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods, including up to a 10-hour shift.
- Ability to frequently move throughout a manufacturing facility.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds, including awkwardly shaped materials or items.
- Ability to safely perform duties in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.
