Job Summary
Stein Sign Display is seeking a driven individual to manage our growing digital billboard portfolio in eastern South Dakota. This role focuses exclusively on digital advertising, such as roadside digital billboards and airport terminal displays, and involves maintaining relationships with existing clients while growing the customer base. Success is measured by customer satisfaction and revenue growth through client retention and new sales. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a self-motivated, goal-driven attitude, and a proven track record in sales (preferably advertising or media). They must be able to negotiate contracts, meet sales targets,and cultivate new business relationships while upholding Stein Sign Display’s values of quality, one team, engaged and integrity. .
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing digital billboard clients through regular check-ins and meetings.
- Proactively identify and secure new advertising clients for our digital billboard network (including airport terminal displays).
- Sell consultatively by understanding client needs and recommending digital advertising solutions.
- Prepare and process sales paperwork, proposals, and contracts accurately.
- Coordinate with clients and designers to deliver ad proofs and refine artwork, ensuring final ads meet client expectations.
- Assist in developing and updating sales materials (digital media kits, etc.) to effectively promote our digital advertising solutions.
- Participate in community networking events (e.g., Chamber of Commerce mixers) to build relationships and promote our digital advertising.
- Research and recommend new high-visibility locations for digital billboard installations to expand the
company’s digital footprint.
- Travel throughout Eastern South Dakota to meet clients and attend events (mileage reimbursed; occasional overnight travel may be required).
Job Specifications
- Positive, self-starting attitude with the ability to embrace challenges and multitask effectively.
- 2+ years of successful sales experience (advertising or media sales preferred).
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and communication skills, including effective use of email.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Sales experience: 2 years (Preferred)
- Valid driver’s license (Required)
