Job Responsibilities:
Provides management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts; will process bi-weekly payroll, regular and periodic financial data, and government payments, forms, and documents.
Job Duties:
- Prepares consolidated internal financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and multiple internal sources.
- Supervisor, provide direction to Administration staff.
- Maintains and balances accounts accurately in computer system by verifying and inputting data.
- Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports.
- Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts.
- Record accounting transactions; reconciling bank accounts.
- Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes.
- Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
- Provides accounting support by reviewing financial information; converting data to general ledger system; obtaining supplementary information for preparing financial statements.
- Protects organization's data by keeping information confidential.
- Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications:
· 3-5 years accounting experience as well as a knowledge of accepted accounting principles. Experience in manufacturing accounting environment preferred.
· Knowledge of accepted accounting principles, working knowledge of manual and automated accounting systems, and demonstrated ability to manage computer operations and applications in finance are essential.
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent applicable experience preferred
