ESCO is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to guide, lead, and manage its daily production flow. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind with proven success in managing multiple departments to achieve maximum productivity, as well as strong leadership, organizational, and people skills. An emphasis of this role will be on achieving the balance between high monthly revenue goals and on time shipping, which creates a Wow! experience for our customers.

ESCO’s Operations Manager responsibilities will include:
- Departments Managed: Production (2 facilities), Engineering, and IT. Roughly 4-5 direct reports and 5 indirect department supervisors.
- Managing safety: Leading, cultivating, and maintaining our OSHA Sharp Certified status.
- Managing production: Ensuring smooth and efficient production by managing schedules, resources, and personnel. Ability to clearly communicate goals and expectations to direct reports and hold staff accountable.
- Upskilling, Training, Technology. Enhancing the skills of our tenured staff through cross training, along with learning new skills. Identify opportunities to increase productivity through technological improvements.
- Maintaining quality: Ensuring quality standards are routinely met.
- Managing inventory: Utilizing our inventory dashboard to ensure inventory levels are managed efficiently for production flow as well as achieving inventory metrics.
- Managing maintenance: Establishing and maintaining repair and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Leading projects: Providing influential leadership to drive change and growth.
- LEAN Enterprise: Implementing LEAN methodology and strategies throughout all operations.
- Providing technical guidance: Proactively identifying ways to increase efficiencies and problem solve.
- Analyzing budgets: Maximizing value of expenses and resources to achieve desired profitability.
- Strategic Planning: Identifying long term planning needs and develop strategies to achieve.
- Collaborating with teams: Working with various teams and departments on improvements and solutions.
Required skills and Qualifications:
- Three or more years of proven success in an operations or manufacturing leadership role
- Strong skills in budget development and oversight
- Proven ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining and creating new systems and processes.
- Proficiency in conflict and personnel management
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business administration, or related field
- Working knowledge of management software programs, such as EPICOR
